Tips for listing photos that get clicks

Design for the app crop first

Most Etsy shoppers browse on their phone, where search shows only the middle part of your photo. On a 2000 × 2000 image, keep the title, the product and any badge between x 400–1600 and y 250–1750.

Make 2000 × 2000 your default

A square at 2000 px works in every Etsy view, gives shoppers sharp zoom, and lets you design one layout for the whole listing.

Keep files under 1 MB

Export as JPG at around 80% quality. It is usually under 1 MB at 2000 px without visible loss.

Add a listing video

Video gets its own spot on the listing page. A 10-second slideshow of your listing images is enough to start.
